On Friday, Mar. 22, No. 4-seeded Kansas State took on No. 13-seeded La Salle and lost a close one to the Explorers 63-61 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Jordan Henriquez got a season-high 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Wildcats, earning a double-double. Shane Southwell had a team-high 17 points and added four rebounds. Jerrell Wright finished with a season-high 21 points and eight rebounds for the Explorers. Kansas State closes out the season with a 27-8 record. The Wildcats got to the NCAA Tournament as an at-large team after falling to Kansas 70-54 in the Big 12 Tournament. In the regular season, they finished first in the Big 12 with a 14-4 record in conference play.
